Salt Creek

Salt Creek is by far receives the best winter swells in Orange County if you are looking for a wild surf adventure in Southern California if you are looking for a spectacular surf adventure.

There are three sections to surf Salt Creek:

The Point has the best break in the summer and late fall.

The Middle Section is best during the winter as the barrels there can be breathtaking. The only risk of the middle section is that is can break fairly close to the shore, so be on the lookout for wipeouts that can take you out of the game fairly quickly.

Gravels is probably the best spot to surf during Spring as they produce decent rights.

Over the Summer, this beach is a very popular tourist spot and finding parking can be extremely difficult.
