Meditation in Chaos
There are often times when I find myself meditating whilst I am at work. Working with Middle Schoolers can be challenging and there are many instances in which I can have my patience tested, but I also remember that steady breathing may help everything in the long run.
Most of us have the toxic habit of reliving a dark moment in our past or multiple dark moments for that matter. Coming from someone who deals with dark memories of trauma all the time, there are many instances in which I have been scarred. However, when I am still and breathe in each present moment, I remember that I have championed past my past. Remembering that you have championed through your darkest moments helps you move forward in the present.
